Indiana Tech is seeking Statistician adjunct faculty for our Ph.D. program in Global Leadership.
 
A Statistician is responsible for conducting Statistical Labs and grading statistical homework assignments for Ph.D. research courses. The labs take place online and are offered to students at the end of each session (excluding summer sessions). Essential functions include: apply knowledge of statistics to conduct social science studies, conduct basic statistical analysis, evaluate statistical procedures for accuracy, and communicate with students on statistical issues. Additional responsibilities: assist with a study design and review statistical data analysis for dissertation research.

Our online program has a relational approach to teaching and good interpersonal skills are essential for a successful candidate.
Qualified candidates will have an advanced degree in statistics or closely related field (Ph.D. preferred). 3-5 year’s experience in independent data analysis and study design; SPSS proficiency and previous teaching experience are required. Online teaching is preferred. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to details are highly important. When assisting doctoral candidates with their dissertation, a Statistician might be asked occasionally to drive to Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne.
