Admissions Representative - All Locations
Indiana Tech is seeking applications for full-time Admissions Representatives to expand enrollment in our academic programs. Responsibilities include working in close concert with the entire admissions team, including contacting and meeting prospective students, effectively communicating programs to interested individuals, and enrolling new students. Associate Admissions Counselor

Must be able to travel extensively throughout the Midwest and surrounding areas, establish relationships, and assist with special Admissions events. This is an entry-level position. Director of Institutional Planning and Evaluation
Indiana Tech is seeking qualified candidates for a new Director for Institutional Planning and Evaluation.  The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis and reporting on the efficacy of Indiana Tech’s academic offerings and institutional operations.  The director will refine data into useful knowledge and will advise on the proper resourcing of initiatives and activities that promote exemplary performance within a culture of evidence-based decision making; establish critical structures and systems for assessment data management, comprehensive program review, market research, and accreditation support; provide analyses and timely reports related to program evaluation, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, external benchmarking and other performance analytics; and advise and collaborate with academic and administrative units to ensure meaningful indicators of effectiveness are clearly identified and facilitate relevant assessment activities.  Additionally, the director will coordinate a wide range of data collection and analysis activities and optimize use of outcomes for continuous improvement while acting as the key liaison with regional accreditation body (HLC) and preparing materials for institutional accreditation (AQIP).  This position serves as a key resource to academic unit heads in support of programmatic accreditations and engages internal and external constituencies to ensure well-informed planning and evaluation outcomes.
 
This position requires a master’s degree with a doctoral degree highly preferred. Highly qualified applicants will possess a strategic mindset and a working knowledge of research design and methodologies; statistical/data analysis skills and the capacity to synthesize data for clear communication to a wide range of audiences; proficiency with MS Office products and an aptitude for making use of ERP and assessment data technologies; a collaborative demeanor, strong communication skills, and interpersonal competencies.  The successful candidate must have an administrative background—ideally in a higher education or organizational development context—coupled with excellent organizational skills and the capacity to supervise multiple large-scale projects concurrently. Experience with regulatory compliance, performance assessment, market research, and/or strategic planning  activities is preferred. Post-secondary teaching experience is desirable.

First Year Experience Coordinator
Indiana Tech is seeking candidates to fill the position of First Year Experience Coordinator within our Foundations Of Excellence (FOE) program.  The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating first year experience initiatives to improve the first-year student experience as well as their retention, persistence and success at Indiana Tech.  This position will work in collaboration with faculty, administrators, and university staff throughout campus.

This person will help plan, coordinate, and implement a wide variety of marketing and communications efforts including print pieces, display materials, campus signage, and Web pages. The successful individual must be a self-starter with an ability to prioritize multiple projects in a small-group environment.

International Admissions Counselor
The Office of International Student Admissions & Orientation at Indiana Tech is seeking applications for a full-time, twelve-month position for an International Admissions Counselor.    Duties may include, but are not limited to, international student recruitment, processing international admission applications, advising applicants of the admission requirements and program options, conduct credential evaluation, compliance with immigration regulations, communicating with prospective international students, developing marketing material, overseeing international student workers, assisting with daily office procedures, conducting campus tours, sitting on campus-wide committees, serving as a DSO and ARO, and issuing initial immigration documents.  This individual will also utilize international students and alumni when traveling abroad for recruitment efforts.  The successful candidate will actively engage in recruitment tools such as social media platforms, personal contacts, college fairs, presentations, etc.  The Counselor will maintain and update international student files with the assistance of admission reports, oversee the execution of the international recruitment plan, and assist in development and implementation of the international orientations.  Lastly, the incumbent will advise international students according to U.S. government guidelines.

Reference Librarian
Indiana Tech’s McMillen Library/Fort Wayne campus is seeking a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Reference Librarian to provide reference service to faculty, staff and students in a user-friendly atmosphere. The department utilizes the OCLC World Management System. Library staff collaborates with satellite campuses and the Indiana Tech Law School Library to provide seamless service. The successful candidate will join an institution that is growing academically and physically. In 2014, McMillen Library will move into a new academic center, which will house the College of General Studies.
 
Responsibilities include, reference desk coverage; provide individual and classroom library research/instruction; guide patrons to effectively search electronic information resources and respond to their various information needs, create electronic subject pages; maintain reference and library statistics; collection development-electronic and print; train library staff in new technologies as they relate to reference and instruction.  May perform other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Library Director and needs of the university.
