Indiana Tech invites applications for one full-time tenure-track mechanical engineering faculty position to begin in August 2010.  Rank is commensurate with experience.  A Ph.D. in mechanical engineering with significant industry experience is preferred.  An M.S.M.E. or M.S.E. degree is required.  Candidates in all ME specialty fields will be considered.  Leadership in mechanical engineering and energy engineering programs is required.  Experience in an ABET accredited engineering or technology program is desired.  The successful applicant is required to teach a broad range of undergraduate engineering classroom and laboratory courses.  The successful applicant must be an excellent teacher.  Courses may be taught in both traditional and non-traditional formats.

The President and Board of Trustees at Indiana Tech seek nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA). The University is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA).  Reporting to the President, the VPAA is considered second-in-command at the University, and is responsible for the strategic planning, administration, growth and direction of the academic programs. He or she must provide leadership to the faculty and staff, and be responsible for all matters directly relating to faculty, including support, academic policy, planning and resource allocation, budgetary concerns, faculty recruitment, and contractual administration. The successful candidate will possess an earned doctorate, proven success in academic administration, full-time faculty experience at the associate professor level or higher, and have experience with non-traditional and online programs. The President is seeking a strong individual who is an innovative academic leader and a strategic thinker who understands the challenges of private colleges to maintain quality academic programs; be an excellent listener and communicator; and have the characteristics of integrity and vision.
The successful candidate will join the University community between May 15 and June 30, 2010.  Compensation and benefit package are excellent and commensurate with experience.
