Overview
Vice President for Student Affairs
Indiana Tech invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Student Affairs.  Review of applications will begin immediately, and the new vice president will assume office on or before July 2013.
 
The Indiana Tech search committee seeks a dynamic and energetic achiever who can lead and manage both people and systems.  Key personal attributes include strong communication skills, an orientation toward working with people, a hands-on approach to management, a working knowledge of student life, athletic programs and a collaborative approach to organizational achievement.  The successful candidate must possess significant work experience in student affairs.  Reporting directly to the President and working collaboratively with a five member senior team of vice presidents, the Vice President for Student Affairs will assume all responsibilities for Indiana Tech’s student affairs and athletic programs ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and university policies.  Providing leadership and vision in administration of a comprehensive range of programs and services for students, the student affairs VP will create a campus culture that promotes the academic achievement and personal development of all students while providing oversight and assistance with student-related conduct and crisis response.  The new vice president will provide oversight for all athletics for the university ensuring all athletic programs adhere to NAIA and WHAC Conference standards and requirements. Additional responsibilities include managing budgets, resources and oversight of dining services and residence halls.
