The College of Business at Indiana Tech is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Marketing/Management at the rank of assistant professor, beginning fall 2013.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibilities include teaching in the areas of specialization, student advising, supporting activities to advance the College of Business, and fostering relationships with students both in and out of the classroom. Successful candidates will also participate in the continued development of the undergraduate and graduate curriculum, develop new online courses, contribute to the College’s professional accreditation activities, and teach 12 credits (4 classes) per semester.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master’s degree in an appropriate field is required, with a doctorate strongly preferred. Candidates with a student centered focus and a strong interest in working with first-year students will be viewed favorably.

 

Relevant work and teaching experience are considered strong assets, as is evidence of scholarly activity.

Applicants should demonstrate a capacity for high quality teaching, evidenced by teaching evaluations, if available.

 

Applicants should be able to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching.

Indiana Tech is seeking an Assistant Professor in our Health Information Technology program.  This is a full-time, twelve-month, tenure-track faculty position having primary responsibility teaching undergraduate health information technology courses in an online format.  This position will work on-site at the main Indiana Tech campus in Ft. Wayne, IN. 

The incumbent will teach all assigned courses, engage a diverse student population in the learning process, clearly and precisely document student progress and complete learning assessments as required.  This faculty position will respond to student request in a timely fashion, serve as academic advisor and mentor, work as field experience supervisor and ensure course and program learning outcomes are achieved as defined according to the course syllabus.

Qualified candidates have a certification in AHIMA, RHIT or RHIA, hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred, excellent organizational and communication skills, and at least three years of experience in Health Information Technology.  Experience in teaching in-person and in an online format is preferred.

Indiana Tech is seeking a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor to teach in our undergraduate and graduate psychology programs in an online format. This is a 12 month position.

 
Doctoral degree required. An interest in, or experience in forensic psychology is preferred, and relevant work and teaching experience are considered required. Applicants should demonstrate a capacity for high quality postsecondary teaching, evidenced by teaching evaluations, if available. Applicants should be technolgically proficient in order to successfully utilize instructional technology. Applicants should be strongly committed to excellence in teaching and advising, and to working collegially and collaboratively in a multicultural environment that embraces diversity.

 
In addition to teaching, the successful applicant will support Indiana Tech initiatives to recruit and retain students. The applicant will advise students and will assist in further development of Psychology programs. Also, the successful applicant will support student organizations and extracurricular activities.
