Greetings and Welcome to Indiana Tech!
In May, we said goodbye to more than 900 graduates who completed associate, bachelor’s or master’s degrees as well six doctoral degree graduates. Our Commencement was a joyful celebration, and we wish them well as they enter the next phase of their lives.
Although it’s summer now, there are still a lot of things going on at Indiana Tech. Our campus is beautified with summer flowers and greenery; our law school building has been completed; and we have started construction on the "crown jewel" of our campus, the new academic center. While many traditional students have the summer off, we are again offering “Summer of Success” classes to our freshmen and sophomore students to help them stay connected. The program was a success in its debut last year, and we have expanded our course offerings for this summer.
We will also welcome a variety of visitors to our campus during the summer. Our athletic department is offering a variety of camps and events this summer, including a wrestling camp and men’s and women’s soccer camp. Our College of Engineering is offering an engineering and computer sciences camp for the second year. Our Wellness Center remains open and offers various fitness classes for students, staff, alumni and community members. Campus visitors also can stop by Tech Treasures in Andorfer Commons Tuesdays through Fridays to pick up some new Tech gear.
Our College of Professional Studies offers classes year-round with new locations joining the Indiana Tech community. Our locations in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Boise, Idaho, are now recruiting students for our online degree programs. Meanwhile, we are busy preparing to welcome our new and returning traditional students back to the Fort Wayne campus in August with many Welcome Week activities.
One more exciting event will be the dedication of our new law school in September. Representatives from law schools around the country will join us for this event, and we hope that you can too as part of your Homecoming visit.
See you on campus!
