About Us: Campus Parking

Motor Vehicle Registration and Regulations for Students

Indiana Tech has implemented parking regulations designating specific lots students may park their vehicles in depending on their residential status. Parking regulations will be strictly enforced during the hours of 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and all vehicles that violate the policy are subject to being ticketed and/or towed.

All students are required to register their vehicles online. In accordance with state code, you must properly affix the permit to the front window in the lower corner farthest removed from the driver’s position. This location is the passenger side front windshield in the lower right corner.

Permit Costs

Commuter Permit: $60

Residential Permit: $120

Premium Permit: $180
(Inc. Warrior Row A, B, C and Rogers)

Commuting students will be charged a fee of $60.00; students residing on campus will be charged a fee of $120.00. This charge in addition to the fulfillment fee of $6.00 should be paid at the time of registration. Premium parking locations may be made available for specific residence halls at the time of applying and are based on limited availability. Only students residing in those specific residence halls may purchase a premium permit but they are not required and may opt to purchase a residential permit which would allow them to park in the normal residential parking areas. An option may be made available to have the charge applied to your student account for an additional fee.

If a permit is lost or stolen you are required to report the loss and apply for a replacement. You will need to apply online for a replacement permit that was lost or stolen. Any cost for the replacement permit will be explained at the time of application.
