| EM 2030 | | Statics and Dynamics | | Prerequisites: MA 1100 or concurrent registration; PH 1100. Study of forces on bodied at rest and on moving bodies. Vector of algebra, forces in two and three dimensions, free-body diagrams, equilibrium, centroids and centers of gravity, friction, and moment of inertia. Kinematics of particles and rigid bodies, plane motion. Open to Industrial and Manufacturing students only. 3 credit hours. |
