| FIN 3680 | | Financial Markets & Institutions | | Prerequisite: FIN3600. The course has a dual focus: 1) major corporate finance activities inclusive of capital budgeting, capital struc-turing and restructuring to reduce the firm's cost of capital; 2) the capital markets and the financial institutions that are involved in the capital markets used by CFO to structure and restructure a firm's capital structure. This includes the role of capital markets and financial institu-tions in the U.S. capital markets including the supply and demand for funds, interest rates and flow of funds analysis.
