| FIN 3700 | | Financial Analysis & Valuation | | Prerequisite: FIN3600. The course covers the major corporate activities utilizing the growth strategy of mergers and acquisitions inclusive of hostile takeovers, takeover defenses, leveraged buyouts, and management buyouts/buy-ins. This will utilize case method to examine such issues as corporate valuation, industry and financial analysis, and strategic decision making. Casework represents an integral part of this course and is used to challenge students to structure their own analysis to create shareholder value. 3 credits
