Design of Experiments
Prerequisite: EGR 3430. A study of how to design experiments and use statistical analysis to determine the sensitivity of the output of a process to changing input parameters. Included are randomized designs, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance (ANOVA) with single factor experiments, ranodmized Block Design, Latin Square designs, incomplete and complete Block Designs, 2k Factorial Designs, replication, Nested Designs, split-plot design, regression analysis, response surface methods, covariance, and the Taguchi Method. 3 credits.
