Meet the Institutional Advancement Staff
Mark Richter (Vice President of Institutional
Advancement)

Everyone at Indiana Tech is working hard to provide our students with
educational opportunities that are second to none. We are grateful for the
support and assistance that we receive from alums and friends of the school.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if I can be of service in any way. Your
partnership in our work is a vital part of our students' success.

Eve Colchin (Director of Development)

This is an exciting time to be involved with Indiana Tech. Great opportunities
for growth are happening each week. Our momentum is building and I am thrilled
to be a part of this dynamic team!
In the past few years, I have had the honor to meet with many wonderful alumni
and friends of the university. I am inspired by those who care deeply about
Indiana Tech and want to see it continue to thrive. I look forward to meeting
many more of you, as we help the students of today, and tomorrow, become
Indiana Tech graduates who help make this a better world.

Julie Morrison (Director of Alumni Relations & Annual
Fund)
 |
A native of Evansville, Indiana, I relocated to Fort Wayne in June, 2004 and
became the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Fund in October, 2006. I
love working for Indiana Tech and the best part of my job is hearing stories
from alumni and connecting graduates with current students.
Hobbies/Interests
I adore my pug, Buju and enjoy music, hunting for retro furniture and trying
out new restaurants. I'm active in the community, especially in the arts and
downtown development and like organizing special events.

Deborah Agler (Director of Advancement Communications)
 |
I'm fascinated by the ways people communicate. Meeting everyone associated with
Indiana Tech and hearing about their experiences here is really enjoyable. It
also helps me tell the ever-developing Tech story, particularly sharing it with
foundations to generate grants.
Hobbies/Interests
Watching comedies with my husband and sons is a favorite pastime, and my
year-old Labrador retriever helps me with workouts by taking me for vigorous
walks. Reading is another interest-anything about philosophy, current events,
communication (of course), and methods of taming the wild yellow Lab.
Suggestions are welcome!

Mike Peterson (Director of Special Gifts)

Being a native of Fort Wayne, I have always had a great sense of pride in my
hometown community. I graduated from Concordia High School, which has its
beginnings on the grounds of the current location of Indiana Tech. Indiana Tech
has such a rich history in this city, and it is with great pleasure and honor
that I serve the University and the community in this role. I look forward to
continued growth and most importantly to growing relationships with alumni,
partners, and friends of this great institution.

Rose Schafer (Office Manager)
 |
It's very exciting to be part of the Institutional Advancement team here at
Indiana Tech. I'm new to the department and am looking forward to meeting
students as well as alumni.
Hobbies/Interests
My fiancé is a professional wrestler, so we are very busy on the weekends
traveling. In my spare time I love to cross-stitch and scrapbook. My family is
very important to me. Be careful if you ask me about my grandchildren; you may
never get away!
