FOR IMMEIDATE RELEASE
December 19, 2013
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech Warriors and Athletic Knit have reached an agreement on the design of the Ice Hockey jerseys for the inaugural 2014-15 season.
The Warriors will have a white and black jersey, both using sublimation, which is a cutting edge innovation that chemically infuses the design and images into the AK-Knit fabric. The jerseys will also feature double shoulders and elbows.
The Toronto, Ontario based Athletic Knit has been at the forefront of team sportswear manufacturing since 1962. AK is a full service athletic uniform factory, providing a one-stop shop service to its network of team dealers around the world. AK has extensive on-site fabric knitting facilities, state of the art cut and sew operations and advanced computerized in-house graphic design and accents centers.
“We really like the old-school look of the uniforms and are excited to be working with Athletic Knit,” Head Coach Frank DiCristofaro said.
DiCristofaro continues to search and recruit student-athletes to fill a Division I and Division III ACHA roster for the 2014-15 season. If you are interested in playing for the Warriors, please fill out the prospect form and contact coach DiCristofaro.
