Fort Wayne, IN – The 2010-11 school year has not only been one of the Warriors most accomplished years to date athletically, but also academically.
Tech fell just 2.5 points short of capturing their first ever Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference All-Sports Trophy, finishing in 2nd place. The Warriors won four conference titles this year, all in women’s sports – volleyball, golf, and indoor and outdoor track & field.

The Warriors also had 40 student-athletes honored as NAIA Scholar-Athletes and 71 earned Academic All-Conference honors for their outstanding effort and hard work in the classroom. To qualify as a NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student must be nominated by each institution’s head coach, maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status. To earn WHAC Academic All-Conference, an athlete must be at least a junior and have a GPA of 3.25.
