Cleveland, OH – Indiana Tech was climbed from 48th place after the winter standings to 39th in the first spring NAIA Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup Standings released on Thursday, June 2. The Warriors finished 6th in women’s outdoor track & field, 26th on the men’s side, and 23rd in women’s golf to earn a total of 149 spring points. This gives Tech 287.5 total points on the year.
The Warriors are the second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference team, right behind Cornerstone who stands in 27th place with 385 points.
The Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in up to 12 sports – six women’s and six men’s.
