Men's Results | Women's Results
Beavercreek, OH – The Indiana Tech men’s and women’s bowling teams competed at the Orange and Black Classic over the weekend. The men’s team finished 14th out of the 29 teams while the women’s team placed 17th out of 23.
Junior Tyler Keele (Ft. Wayne, IN/Elmhurst) led the Tech men, finishing in a tie for 72nd overall averaging a 198.5 with a 6-game total score of 1191. Freshman Travis Valentine (Leslie, MI/Mason) followed in 85th with an average of 193.7 and a total pinfall of 1162. Valentine averaged more than 10 pins per game better than his last outing. Senior RJ Weick (Ft. Wayne, IN/Elmhurst) was close behind with a total score of 1133 and an average of 188.8.
On the women’s side, sophomore Mary Woehnker (Kendallville, IN/East Noble) paced the team for the second straight time finishing in 47th place with a 6-game total of 1091 and an average of 181.8. Freshman Chelsea Naylor (Grandville, MI/Grandville) was next for the Warriors in 61st with a score of 1042 and a 173.7 average. Fellow newcomer Megan Kohler (Ft. Wayne, IN/Concordia Lutheran) totaled a 943, averaging a 157.2.
The Warriors are back in action on October 29-30 at the Boilermaker Classic at Arrowhead Bowl in Lafayette, Indiana.
