Fort Wayne, Ind. – Indiana Tech is pleased to announce that Chris Bauman has accepted the position of sports information director.

Bauman is no stranger to Tech athletics having spent the past two years as a graduate assistant in the Sports Information Department serving as the primary contact for several of Tech’s 22 varsity programs.

“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to further my career at Indiana Tech. The experience I gained as a graduate assistant was invaluable and I’m looking forward to helping the Warrior athletic programs continue to grow.”

Bauman’s duties will include working with members of the media, producing athletics publications and press releases and maintaining the department’s website.

Prior to his time at Indiana Tech, Bauman gained experience as a student assistant in the Sports Information Department at Bluffton University while earning degrees in sport management and business administration. He also graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Tech in 2012.

Chris currently resides in Decatur, Indiana with his wife Andréa.
