FORT WAYNE, IN- Ashley Hamilton and Mike Lewis both take home consecutive WHAC Player of the Week honors after leading their respective teams to unblemished weeks.

Hamilton an outside hitter from Middlebury, Ind. averaged 3.88 kills and 3.63 digs and had served seven aces during Tech's 16 games. The sophomore was also honored as MVP of the Liz Lykowski Memorial Tournament putting up two matches with double digit kills and digs. Hamilton now has nine matches with double-digit kills and digs on the season including 15 kills and 12 digs in a 3-0 win against Northwestern Ohio University. Tech also posted victories over University of Michigan-Dearborn (3-0), University of St. Francis (Ind.) (3-0), St. Ambrose University (Iowa) (3-0) and No. 6 ranked Georgetown to improve to 15-7 on the year.

Lewis, a junior midfielder from Allen Park, Mich. was named the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two game-winning goals in conference play last week. He received the honor once again this week after scoring four goals in Tech's 7-1 victory against Concordia University. Lewis is now ranked No. 6 in the country with three game-winning goals and ranks No. 7 in game-winning goals per game (.330). Lewis' effort helped improve the Warrior men to 5-5 overall, 4-2 in WHAC conference play.
The Women take the court this evening in Livonia, Mich. to take on the No. 9 ranked Madonna Crusaders while the Men's Soccer team will be in action at Madonna on Saturday.
