For Immediate Release
Fort Wayne, Ind. – As part of the Warrior Pride program, each month the athletic department will name one male and one female athlete the Warrior of the Month. Athletes can earn recognition for their hard work on the field, excellence in the classroom, or being active in their community.
The Warrior of the Month Award winners for the month of November are Oscar Calderin-Cruzata of the men’s soccer team and Clea Endres of the women’s lacrosse team.
Oscar Calderin-Cruzata, a sophomore from Lansing, Michigan, has been a great team player and had good spirit during the end of the season and during the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament. He has also been a valuable work study performer in the field house.
Clea Endres, a senior from Fort Wayne, is a tremendous student-athlete. She truly puts in 110% effort into everything she does. She excels in the classroom, earning a spot on the Dean’s List, and is not only a team captain, but a true leader both on and off the field. Clea is always available to help her teammates without question, and is a work horse in both practice and games. Her hustle and determination to do whatever it takes have been big factors in the lacrosse team’s success in the fall season.
Congratulations to Oscar and Clea!
