RESULTS | FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech bowling team hosted the final Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree at Kingpins Bowl on Saturday. The men finished fourth and are fourth overall after the four regular-season events while the women finished second and are fifth after overall.
The men took fourth in the final event with 7,201 total pins, 389 pins behind third-place Northwestern Ohio while Lawrence Tech took home the team crown with 7,668 pins. The Warriors were led individually by Devin Arick who placed eighth with 886 total pins and an average of 221.5 across four games. Jacob Camacho joined Arick in the top-20, finishing 17th with 847 total pins and a four-game average of 211.75.
The women placed second in the jamboree with 6,886 total pins, finishing behind Davenport who tallied 7,438 total pins. Tech was led by Brooke Copenhaver who placed fifth overall with 856 pins and a four-game average of 214. Mary Woehnker was the only other Warrior to place in the top-20, finishing 15th with 755 total pins and an average of 188.75.
The Warriors will take a month off before returning to action on Saturday, Jan. 8 when they travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. for the WHAC Championships hosted by regular season champion, Davenport.
