For Immediate Release
Fort Wayne, Ind. – Indiana Tech distance coach Josh Wolfe would like to announce the signing of Josh D'Haene (DeWitt, MI/DeWitt HS). D'Haene is the fifth male athlete to sign a letter of intent to run distance for the Warriors when cross country starts next fall.
D'Haene boasts some of the best times in Tech's already solid recruiting class. He has run 9:54 (3200m) and 16:34 (5k).
"Josh's 9:54 is on par with the best of our incoming recruits. He is a smart kid who is passionate about running; consequently, we are extremely high on him. His high VO2max along with incredibly efficient running form will allow him to make an immediate impact. He is shooting for a sub 9:45 in the 3200m, which would be one of the fastest incoming times Tech has ever had. With that said, we are excited to see what he can add to our group next year." -Coach Josh Wolfe
