Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Indiana Tech track and cross country teams are proud to announce the signing of Drew Mueller (Florissant, MO/ McCluer North HS) for the 2012-13 school year. Drew has experience in both track and cross country with his best performances coming last summer on the USATF circuit. Drew ran a lifetime best 9:09 3k to qualify for Nationals this past summer. Drew also ran 17:00 for his cross country PR on a very difficult course.

Coach Edgar on Drew: “Drew is someone our coaches immediately connected with. Coach Holst and myself met with him on campus and thought he would be a great fit for Coach Wolfe’s vision for the distance program. After he and Coach Wolfe spoke on the phone we knew he was going to be a great fit. Drew has done a majority of his damage over the summers and we think with the group of men we have in place, Drew is going to improve by leaps and bounds as a freshman. I think we are going to look back in four years and see this as a major signing for the program.”
