Fort Wayne, Ind. – Indiana Tech’s Aaron Belcher (Mooresville, IN/Mooresville) has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.

The junior from Mooresville, Indiana ran a lifetime-best 25:33 to capture the top spot at the Lansing Invitational and lead the Warriors to a second place team finish, behind only NCAA DII Saginaw Valley State University.

It was the third time in as many races this season that Belcher has paced the team. His time was also the sixth fastest time in Indiana Tech history.

The Warrior cross country teams continue their season on Oct. 12 at the Bethel College Invitational in South Bend, Indiana.
