For Immediate Release
Fort Wayne, Ind. – Indiana Tech distance coach Josh Wolfe is proud to announce the recent signing of Cody Dyer from Plainfield South High School in Plainfield, Illinois.
Cody will compete in both cross country and track for the Warriors, running the 800m on up. Cody has personal bests of 15:16 (3mi-XC), 4:19 (1600), and 1:58.86 (800).
"Adding Cody to our incredibly talented mid-distance core will make us extremely versatile next year,” said Coach Wolfe. “We already have three guys who have gone 1:55 or faster in the 800 and a 4:17 miler, who will all be juniors or younger starting next fall. Cody will be in the mix to be the 4th man on the 4x8 relay, which recently placed 5th at the NAIA indoor nationals, as well as take an 800 or 1200 leg on the distance medley relay and make it national-worthy. He stands to qualify in an individual event in track too, and add depth to our cross country team as he currently projects as a top 5 guy. He will impact us right away on the national level, and we are very high on his potential."
