Fort Wayne, IN – Indiana Tech men’s cross country runner John Wainwright has earned this week’s Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Runner of the Week.

The senior from Wolcottville, IN helped lead the Warriors to a first place finish after placing first overall last weekend at the IPFW Invitational. Wainwright finished with a time of 25:07, which is a lifetime best.

The Warriors are back in action Friday, September 17 at the Indiana Intercollegiate meet. The meet will be held on the campus of Purdue University and begins at 3:30 p.m. The meet will feature nearly every college from the state of Indiana.
