Fort Wayne, IN – The Warriors Track and Cross Country teams are proud to announce the signing of Pat Parks (Fishers, IN/Hamilton Southeastern HS). Pat signed his letter of intent this past weekend at the Hoosier State Relays meet.

In just his first season of running cross country this past fall, Pat was able to run sub 16:00 for the 5k and helped the Royals reach the state finals as a team. Pat excels on the track as well. He has run 2:00 or faster in the 800m multiple times and brings a rare combination of speed and endurance to the teams at Tech.

"Pat's personal best in the 5k makes him one of the most talented incoming distance runners that Tech has ever had. With that said, he stands to help us on the track just as much. He is very intelligent, understands racing, and is highly competitive, which usually translates into lots of success. We couldn't be happier." -Coach Wolfe
