Fort Wayne, IN – Indiana Tech announced on Tuesday that Amber Johnson has been tabbed as the new Head Coach to lead the Warrior Cheer team, bringing her knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport to the program.

Amber Johnson is a 2006 graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, where she was a member of the Mastodon Cheerleading squad while obtaining her degree in Education at IPFW.

Previously, she has coached at Snider High School as well as at Harding High School while teaching elementary education. She left the classroom to pursue a career in collegiate coaching and continuing her master’s degree.

Johnson will prep her cheerleaders for a successful 2011-12 season and an anticipated return to Nationals.
