5/13/09 – Cleveland, TN – The Indiana Tech Baseball team saw their 2009 campaign reach a conclusion when the Warriors were eliminated from the 2009 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round with a 6-0 loss to the Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs. The Warriors fell victim to a big inning when the Bulldogs scored five runs and put the Warriors in a deep hole. The Warriors this season were the masters of the big rally but not this day and the Bulldogs cruised to the win. Sophomore pitcher Corey Schwartz (Decatur, IN / Bellmont) took the loss but on a bright side, freshman pitcher Tyler Snoke (Cincinnati, OH / Glen Este) pitched four innings of perfect relief allowing no hits and no walks. The Warriors finish the season 2009 WHAC Tournament Champions with an overall record of 31-26.
