5/28/09 – Fort Wayne, IN – The NAIA has announced their 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes and several players from the Warrior Baseball team have been honored.  Junior pitchers Zach Palmer (Ft. Wayne, IN / Bishop Luers) and John Toschlog (Richmond, IN / Anderson Univ.) as well as senior hurler Eric Sherrill (Fort Wayne, IN / Elmhurst).  All three were instrumental in the success of this year’s program that captured the 2009 WHAC Baseball Tournament.  Palmer and Sherrill study business administration at Tech and Toschlog is enrolled in the psychology program.  Congratulations to each one of them for their outstanding achievement!
