The men’s basketball team trailed the visiting Davenport Panthers by 5 points at the half but stormed out of the locker room and outplayed the Panthers en route to a 66-63 victory. The win was the fifth in the row for Coach Jeff Parrish and his Warriors, and Tech now sits in second place in the WHAC at 7-3 and one game behind Aquinas and Cornerstone, both 8-2.
The Warriors had three players in double figures for scoring with senior Tim Browning (Detroit, MI) leading the way with 21 points and six boards. Senior Brad Webster (Barberton, OH) had his third double-double of the season with 13 points and 13 rebounds. The Panthers were paced by Nathan Cox who had 27 points off the bench.
The Warriors will next play Cornerstone at the Schaefer Center on Wednesday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m. This game will be the highlight of the WHAC Wednesday night men’s basketball schedule. |
