Fort Wayne, Ind. – The 25th ranked Indiana Tech men’s basketball team moved to 3-0 on the year with a 60-53 victory over Trinity Christian College on Saturday.

The Warrior defense smothered Trinity Christian holding the Trolls to just 27 percent shooting from the field and forced them into 18 turnovers.

Junior Jeff Hoskins (Kalamazoo, MI/Indiana Wesleyan) led the way for the Warriors with 17 points and senior Antonio Cannon (Indianapolis, IN/Ancilla) followed with 16. Hoskins also added four rebounds and three assists. Senior Melvin Brooks (Memphis, TN/Marion Military) had six points to go along with 12 rebounds.

BJ Wortham paced Trinity Christian with 23 points while Ezekiel Odonkor added 12.

Up next, Indiana Tech will travel to Upland, Indiana for a non-conference matchup with Taylor University on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
