Warrior's Second Half Surge Not Enough

December 11, 2009

Fort Wayne, IN-- The Warrior Men just miss in a valiant 2nd half effort, losing to Cardinal Stritch 78-70 at the Taylor Tournament this evening. Tech shot just 28% in the first half but nearly turned a 180 going 52% from the field in the second half.

A full team effort, eight Warriors added points in the first half led by Anthony Johnson with 19 and Shaun Cabrera and Ashton Foster punching in 13 a piece. The Warriors defense improved in the second half after going in to the locker room down seven.

Tech's bench seemed to overpower Stritch tallying up an unheard of 23 points in comparrision to the Cardinals 8.
The Warriors will see the court in the Consolation Game game of the Taylor Tournament tomorrow at 1 p.m. against Ohio State-Marian.
