Fort Wayne, IN-- Three Warriors were in double figures but couldn't quite pick up the victory of the Concordia Cardinals Wednesday night dropping their third straight 63-67. Senior, guard, Shaun Cabrera led Tech with 20 points while junior, forward, James Hicks added 19 points and 10 boards. Sophomore, guard, Mike Bobby also contributed to the effort putting up 10 points.
Taking a 12 point deficit into half time Brad Winton's Warriors came out with a new outlook, double team. After implementing this, the Warriors doubled the number of Concordia turnovers in the second half and had the deficit down to just three points with 8.3 ticks on the clock. The Warriors put themselves in a corner when they were unable to capitalize at the free throw line.
Saturday the Warriors will head to Livonia Michigan to take on the Madonna Crusaders. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. For more information on the Warrior Men please contact Kaylee Swanson at 260.422.5561 ext. 2443 or via email at kaswanson@indianatech.edu.
