Kendallville, IN – The Indiana Tech men’s golf team finished fourth out of the 12 teams that competed in the Saint Francis Invitational on August 30-31. The Warriors led by five strokes after the first day, but struggled on day two and ended up finishing eight back of the leader.
Cornerstone University won the event shooting a 596, while St. Francis and Holy Cross finished tied for second at 600. Tech was next at 604, followed by Davenport at 610 to round out the top five.
Senior Mike Kasperski (Coldwater, MI/Coldwater HS) and freshman Cleo Trumbull (Waterville, OH/Anthony Wayne HS) both finished tied for second shooting 146.
The Warriors are back in action September 8th for the WHAC Jamboree 1 hosted by Davenport University at Stonewater GC. The event starts at 10:00 a.m.
