Tecumseh, MI – The Indiana Tech men’s golf team shot a 320 and placed fifth at the final WHAC Jamboree of the year on Saturday. Davenport University won the competition shooting a team score of 306, followed by Cornerstone University and Madonna University with matching scores of 313. The Warriors ended the fall season in third place in the conference behind Madonna and Davenport.
Senior Mike Kasperski (Coldwater, MI/Coldwater HS) was the only Tech player to finish in the Top 10, turning in a 78 good for 8th place. Alex Odenweller (Ottoville, OH/Ottoville HS) and Cleo Trumbull (Waterville, OH/Anthony Wayne HS) carded an 80, finishing in a tie for 15th place.
Alex Bunner (Ft. Wayne, IN/Northrop HS) shot an 82, putting him in a tie for the 24th spot and Brandon Curl (Marengo, IN/Crawford County HS) turned in an 83 to tie for 28th place. Nick Quick (Portage, IN/Portage HS) finished in 41st place with a 90.
The Warriors are back in action on October 4-5, when they play at Beaver Creek Golf Club in Beavercreek, OH.
