Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men’s golf team is proud to announce the signing of Tyler Turnwald from Van Wert High School in Van Wert, Ohio.

“Tyler should be able to come in and add depth to the team needed to compete for the conference championship,” said Warrior Head Coach Kelly Mettert.

Tyler has enjoyed a decorated career with the Cougars, and was most recently named First Team All-Western Buckeye League and Second Team Northwest District. In ten 18-hole tournaments this past season, Tyler shot an average score of 79 and fired a 75 at the WBL tournament, eventually claiming the individual title in a three-hole playoff. He shot an 80 at the sectional tournament and an 81 at districts.
