RESULTS | SPRINGFIELD, Ill.—Despite playing just nine holes due to weather, the Indiana Tech men’s golf team improved two spots to finish fourth at the Bulldog Classic on Tuesday at the Panther Creek Country Club. Tech carded a final round 153 to finish with a 27-hole total of 477 (324-153).
Tyler Willette led the Warriors with a final round 37 to finish on the All-Tournament Team in third with a 111 (74-37). Three other Warriors finished in the top-25 with Brandon Bailey placing tied for 18th with a two-day total of 120 (82-38).
Zach Wetzel (87-37) and Nate Kolmerten (82-42) tied for 25th with 27-hole totals of 124 while Tom Kocks carded a two-day total of 127 (86-41) to finish tied for 28th.
Zach Clouse, competing as an indiviual, finished 39th with a 135 (87-48).
Millikin Univeristy won the event by two strokes over Culver-Stockton (310-157=467) with a tournament total of 445 (298-147). Hannibal-LaGrange finished third with a 470 (312-158) while the Orange and Black tied with the host, Benedictine University-Springfield (316-161=477), to round out the top five.
The Warriors return to the course on Monday, Oct. 28 when they host the Warrior Invitational at the French Lick Resort in French Lick, Ind.
