Ft. Wayne, IN – The Indiana Tech men’s lacrosse team bounced back after a loss to Davenport University yesterday and dominated Siena Heights. The Warriors set the tone early, scoring just 26 seconds into the game. Tech would add eight more unanswered goals as they cruised to a 15-4 win.
Matt Fedyck (Fergus, ON/Centre Wellington District HS) led all scorers with five goals and an assist. Christopher Miller (Salem, OR/Sprague HS) added three more goals and Samora Ponn (Elkhart, IN/Concord HS) chipped in with two scores and two assists.
Zach Peterson (Plymouth, MN/Wayzata HS) and Miller were great on face-offs winning a combined 13-of-16. The Warriors defense was outstanding, limiting the Saints to three first half shots and only nine for the entire game. Gabriel Stulp (Rockford, MI/Rockford HS) had a solid day in goal coming up with several big saves.
The Warriors return next when they host Taylor University-Upland on April 21 at 7 p.m.
