Ft. Wayne, IN – The Indiana Tech men’s lacrosse team lost to Trine University Friday night in their final game of the season, 15-3. The Thunder dominated for the most part early and took an 8-0 lead into the half.
The Warriors got on the board late in the third quarter with a goal from Nicholas Lichtsinn (Ft. Wayne, IN) to make it an 11-1 game. Tony Cremeens (St. Charles, MO/Hazelwood HS) scored early in the fourth but Trine answered with three more goals to put the game away.
Lichtsinn, Cremeens, and Jared Weis (Evansville, IN/Evansville North HS) all scored for Tech and Brent Nichter (Ft. Wayne, IN/Bishop Luers HS) and Samora Ponn (Ft. Wayne, IN/Concord HS) had one assist each. Bryce Packard (Middleton, WI/Middleton HS) picked up six groundballs and Jordon Steptoe (Ellicott City, MD/River Hill HS) finished the game making 12 saves.
The Warriors finished their inaugural season with an impressive 10-5 record.
