Warriors Defeat Cornerstone in Shootout

FORT WAYNE, IN- On Saturday night, the Indiana Tech Men’s Soccer team advanced to the 2009 WHAC Men’s Soccer Championship Game with a shootout victory (5-3) over the visiting Golden Eagles of Cornerstone University. Both teams were locked in a tense dual and neither team could find a weakness in the other to exploit. Despite several chances on both sides, the game remained scoreless after regulation time. The game remained scoreless after two sudden death overtimes before the Warriors emerged victorious after the best of five shootout format. The Warriors will host Davenport University on Saturday, November 14th at 2:00 p.m.
