Kansas City, MO – After qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament for the first time since 1983, the Warriors are ranked 23rd in the 2010 NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll.
The Warriors finished the 2009 season with their best record since the 1983 season at 12-7-3 and finished the regular season second in the conference. After winning the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament, the team qualified for the National Tournament and advanced to the final site. Tech was one of the final 16 teams in the nation, but was defeated by the eventual national runner-up.
2009 WHAC and Regional Coach of the Year Martin Neuhoff is returning several talented and experienced All-Conference performers as the team looks for another successful year in a very competitive conference.
