Fort Wayne, IN – The Warriors defeated the Taylor University Trojans on Wednesday night, 4-0. Junior forward Sam Terman (Mason, MI/Mason HS) scored three times to help lead Tech to the win.
The game was scoreless at the break but Terman broke the tie eight minutes into the second half with an assist from Elliott Everson (Horsmonden, England, UK/Hayesbrook). Terman netted his second goal of the game off a header in the 70th minute to give the Warriors a two goal lead.
Terman completed the hat-trick just seven minutes later when he beat the Trojan keeper thanks to a great pass from Benny Saydee (Lansing, MI/Everett HS).
Callum Stanley (Hampshire, England, UK) added a goal with just under two minutes to play to give the Warriors the 4-0 win.
Steve Putek (Lincoln Park, MI/Lincoln Park HS) made five saves helping Tech record their fourth shutout of the season as the Warriors have now won 10 straight at Warrior Field.
The Warriors are back in action Saturday, September 18 when they travel to Trinity Christian. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.
