North Canton, OH – The Indiana Tech men’s soccer team won in a thriller on Wednesday night against the Walsh University Cavaliers, 2-1. The Warriors beat the Walsh keeper for two goals in the final five minutes of the game for the come from behind victory. Tech improved to 7-4 with the win.
The Warriors trailed at the half after allowing the Cavaliers to score their lone goal in the 23rd minute, but Tech came out and dominated the second half. The Warriors controlled the ball for the majority of the time and finished strong outshooting the Cavs in the second half 3-1.
With time running out, junior Sam Terman (Mason, MI/Mason HS) scored off a rebound to tie the game. Then with less than a minute left in regulation Callum Stanley (Hampshire, England, UK) found Terman again for the game-winner.
The Warriors will travel to Madonna University on Saturday, October 9 for a conference match-up with the Crusaders. Game time is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
