Mike Lewis and Mark Baptist helped Indiana Institute of Technology to a 2-0 week en route to earning Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.
Lewis, junior midfielder from Allen Park, Mich., scored both game-winning goals to lead the Tech offensive and post wins against Siena Heights University (2-1) and Aquinas College (3-1). He added a second goal in the win against Aquinas to score 6 points on the week. Lewis now has three goals and one assist for the season.
A sophomore defender, Baptist organized Tech's defense, allowing only one goal each game. The Rochford, Essex native from United Kingdom, added an assist against SHU. 
Tech sits at 4-5 on the year, 3-2 in conference play. The Warriors sit idle until Oct. 3 when they travel to Concordia University for a 2:30 p.m. conference game.
