For Immediate Release
Fort Wayne, Ind. – The 2012 indoor spring season is underway as the Warriors start off with NCAA Division I Ball State University. It will be the first trip to Muncie for the team and the match against the Cardinals should give the Warriors plenty of on and off-court motivation in preparing for the indoor match season.
The team won’t have much time to recover as they hit the road the following day as they travel to Albion, Michigan to challenge Albion College. Last year the Warriors came home with a big win and will have every intention of doing the same again. Another tough match is expected against the Brit’s.
To end the indoor season, the team will play against Trine University. In the only previous meeting between the teams, Indiana Tech came away with a very decisive win. The young Warriors will do all they can to keep the Thunder from getting the win this year.
Following a short break the team will head south to play some of the best small colleges in Kentucky, specifically Campbellsville University and Lindsey-Wilson College. Both teams have histories of being nationally ranked and competing in the national championships.
The Warriors will need to travel and play well as they will play four matches in days in preparation for conference play on March 27 against the newest team in the WHAC, Cornerstone University. Once indoor and pre-conference play is complete, the Warriors will be ready to challenge and compete for both a regular season conference title and the WHAC Championships.
