Detroit, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men’s tennis team lost an 8-1 decision against NCAA DII opponent Wayne State University on Tuesday night, the team’s third straight match against either an NCAA DI or DII squad.
The Warriors slipped to 5-5 on the year with the setback while Wayne State improved its record to 1-2 overall.
Tech picked up its lone victory of the night at No.1 doubles where Joaquin Ferrando and Sriram Aranganathan defeated their opponents 8-6.
The slate won’t get any easier for the Warriors who take on Saint Joseph’s College, another NCAA DII team, on Saturday, Mar. 2 in Rensselaer, Indiana.
