For Immediate Release
Fort Wayne, Ind. – Indiana Tech track and field is proud to announce the signing of Sara Crawford (Ft. Wayne, IN/Carroll HS). Sara is an accomplished 300 hurdler who finished sixth at the very challenging Fort Wayne Regional in 2011. Sara also ran 21:02 for 5k in her first year ever running cross country during her senior season.
Coach Edgar on Sara: “We’re very excited to keep another local athlete close to home. Sara has a lot of room left to grow and will see major improvements in her hurdle form next year with our hurdle coach Mark Cammack. Additionally, training with our All-American hurdle crew will push her every day in practice and help ease the transition to the 400 hurdles. I think Sara is in for a very good senior season and will be a huge asset for us next year. We are very excited to add her as she truly understands what it means to be a student-athlete.”
Sara plans to pursue a degree in Education while at Tech.
