Fort Wayne, Ind. – Indiana Tech track and field is proud to announce the signing of Alexis Harvey (Decatur, IN/ Bellmont HS).

Alexis is an accomplished sprinter who owns career-best times of 12.2, 24.8, and has split 56 on her team’s 4x400 relay.

Last year at the Indiana state meet, Alexis finished third in the 200 and ninth as a member of the 4x400 relay. In 2011, she was fourth in the 200 and 10th in the 100. As a freshman in 2010, she qualified for state in the 200 and finished seventh as a member of the 4x400.

Coach Edgar on Alexis: "We have had our eye on Alexis for several years now. We have watched her develop into one of the premier runners in Indiana. She is a hard worker and someone that can compete at the college level right away. We are very excited to add her personality to the program!"
