King Named WHAC Track Athlete of the Week

Fort Wayne, Ind. – Indiana Tech’s Adella King (Detroit, MI/Finney) earned her second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week award for women’s indoor track & field following an outstanding performance at the Tiffin University Carnival on Saturday.

The senior standout from Detroit, Michigan helped lead the Warrior women to a second place finish at the meet. King captured first in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.48 and took second in the 200-meter dash, clocking in at 24.67.

King currently ranks first in the NAIA in the 200 and second in the 60.

The Warriors will be back in action next weekend at the Geneva Midwest Invitational with action starting on Friday.
