Coach Edgar on the weekend: “This was a great weekend for us in the middle distance down at IWU and the field events and sprints at IPFW. We sat out about 15 athletes to get ready for a big next three meets, but those that competed did an amazing job. We have the 'Big Meet' at Grand Valley this weekend and then all our focus will turn to our women trying to defend their back-to-back indoor WHAC titles and our men’s team looking to claim their first ever team title. It’s going to need to be an intense few weeks of training, but I think we are up to the task.”
The Warriors travel to Allendale, Michigan on Feb. 8 for the Grand Valley State Big Meet in preparation for the WHAC Championships on Feb. 16.
